Re: Could this be another of 'those' season's?
We had exactly the same sort of threads before the start of last season, and it was the usual mob finishing in the top 6, as it will be again.

Logic says if it's anyone who will struggle it will be Chelsea, as they can't sign anyone, haven't really got a striker of note, and have just lost the best player ever to play for them, who has kept them going single handed for a few years. BUT... you just know that cunt will come out smelling of roses.

I don't keep a daily check on transfers, so I might be wrong, but...

Arsenal look to be struggling to sign players with rumours about players leaving also.

Spurs finally look to be trying to sign players, not least because they may be losing 1 or 2 key ones.

Chelsea will be funny to watch. That's all.

Solskjaer will be gone soon enough with the Mancs getting desperate to relive old glories.

As others have said, Liverpool and City should be top 2 again.

After that, fucked if I know.

Re: Could this be another of 'those' season's?
don't see where your confidence in spurs is coming from. they were diabolical for the last quarter of the season, with a miracle combaack against a nervy ajax side and the total inability of arsenal to get a decent result against a safe brighton team at home painting over the cracks.

dele alli is looking to have totally plateaued, kane is well off the boil, alderweireld and erikson are wantaways, trippier and rose are one foot out the door. even their manager was hiking his skirt at real and man u till they appointed club legends.

the scouse will get absolutely done by VAR and man city will win at a counter, unless they finally get complacent.

So far, it's one of those "dampen down your hopes" pre-seasons.

Much prefered to those "don't get depressed" ones.

We're beginning to look strong. Hope it's not a mirage.

Agree with almost everything except

1. If wolves and Everton do some more business, they can’t be easily dismissed.

2. Your use of apostrophes.

Yes and the reality of that, should we do well from it, is that our better players for one of those seasons will be bought by the failing top clubs next season.

top 6 there will be teams around us thinking what we are thinking that there is an opportunity for a top 6 finish

Agree that 3 clubs in Man U , Chelsea & Arsenal seem to dropping further back and will have frustrating seasons with lots of spoilt fans whining and spitting the dummy.
Expect Man City and Liverpool as said to duel it out at the top with Spurs trailing behind as BRIDESMAIDS. Again winning nothing.

Yes it will an interesting season some Chelsea are Lampard out already and he has his work cut out there for him with the glory hunting cunts

I think Solskjaer will under pressure from the start and they will be with fighting with the Gunners for 4th , 5th, 6th

Spurs I am not sure they be such a force in the coming season

Man City and Liverpool will be the top 2

4th or 5th West ham

Re: Could this be another of 'those' season's?
I think City or Liverpool are a shoe in for the title, and Spurs will finish 3rd.

As for 4th onwards, could be about 8 teams
